This revitalization South Shore  project with the Chicago Family Health Center,  is part of Thrive Exchange and was a finalist for the Pritzker Traubert Foundation $10M Chicago Prize. This is the Chicago Family's first initiative into mixed use of housing and retail. Chicago Family Health has six other center locations.

Most importantly, this project, when completed, will provide a health care center (FQHC with wrap around services), apartments and retail to the South Side of Chicago. The Thrive Exchange project includes an affordable health care center in the 20,000-square-foot Ringer Building. The completed project will provide 450 jobs.

Beautiful apartments are included in the housing development plan, retail, upscale street plantings and business development are part of this revitalization project. Meeting transportation needs is also part of the overall plan. This project plan was launched in 2021 as part of the City of Chicago INVEST South/West competitive funding award in 2021. The project is expected to be fully operational and ready for occupancy in early 2024.
