Biosketch
Dawn Gay currently serves as the Executive Director and Chief Relationship Officer for CareAdvisors, a minority-owned healthcare technology company dedicated to serving uninsured consumers with on-demand healthcare navigation services that address the social determinants of health. She has a strong clinical and operations background with over 25 years of experience in diversified healthcare settings working with hospitals, ambulatory care centers, community-based organizations and physicians. As a prominent leader, Dawn also served as the Executive Director of the I.B. of T. Local 705, Teamsters Health Center where she designed and furnished state-of-the-art ambulatory care center including ancillary services for pharmacy, laboratory and radiology, negotiated contracts with 23 hospitals and developed a proprietary specialty care network.

Dawn is an Alumnus of the MBA in Health Management Administration from Loyola University Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavioral Sciences from National-Louis University. She is a graduate of the Hopkins Fellows program in Community and Organizational Systems at Johns Hopkins University.

Dawn is the Immediate Past President for the Chicago Health Executives Forum, an independent Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition, she is passionate about life-long learning and working with students. Currently Dawn is an External Advisory Board member for Loyola University Chicago and serves on the Advisory Committee at Governors State University Health Care Management program. In addition she serves as a Board member with Access to Care (Suburban Primary Health Care Council) a non-profit organization focused on filling the gap for the uninsured.
